Situated in Henån, within 29 km of Bohusläns Museum and 36 km of Nordiska Akvarellmuseet, Villa Frideborg features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property. Breakfast was splendid, all you could wish and a bit more! Beds were very comfortable, albeit the pillows were a bit to hard according to my wife:) Easy parking. A bit noisy being close to the main thoroughfare but manageable. The landlord is a very nice and pleasant guy with loads of experience in the business. We can only recommend this place highly!

Set in Ellös, 600 metres from Ellös Badplats Beach, Lägenhetshotell Varvet offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. There was no breakfast. Providing an option for that would be an improvement. Kitchenette was a pleasant addition. It could use more dishes. There was only one bowl.

This seaside spa hotel on the island of Orust is 40 minutes’ drive from Stenungsund. It provides an on-site restaurant, bar and terrace with Skagerrak Sea views. This Hotel is a rare treasure I could not recommend enough and I will tell you why. We were so very fortunate to sleep in one of the small houses shown in this picture, and I fell a little bit in love with the place. Not only did we wake up to a magnificent water view, but the staff was although very nice and welcoming. We even got to enjoy a lovely evening with great live music in the hotel restaurant.
