Very comfy place, das away from the lights and other cities, good to take some days off, view the northern lights do a dog sled tour or ride with a snowmobile. The owners are very friendly and helpful! Thanks again, we had a great stay!

Situated 5.7 km from Kiruna Train Station, Scandic Kiruna offers 4-star accommodation in Kiruna and has a bar. The hotel is truly amazing!! The room was exceptionally clean and warm! The facilities of the hotel are also perfect and the lobby area is so cozy and comfortable to just spend some hours during the cold winter days. I was also very surprised with the variety of breakfast options, you can find literally everything in the buffet. Lastly the location is perfect as there is a bus stop just right outside of the main entrance, so it is really easy to get to the hotel from the airport and to Icehotel as well.

Situated in Skellefteå, less than 1 km from Västerbotten Theatre, The Wood Hotel by Elite, Spa & Resort features a bar and views of the mountain. The hotel feels really modern, clean and the lighting and decor is really pleasant (like Nordic spartan), both in the rooms and the general areas. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The foyer has a nice sitting area with arm-chairs, couches and faux furs. You can also grab a beer at the adjacent Paolo's and enjoy it in comfort. The in-house restaurants are handy and the food was quite nice, especially in the Miss Voon restaurant at the top of the hotel - great view from up there too. The breakfast was really good. A good mix of foods, juices & hot drinks with different dietary options too. Handy case storage behind reception if you check out and have time to kill. Its in a very convenient location, as the bus terminal is about 200m away, and you are situated right in the heart of town. It's also a stop for the Skelleftea airport shuttle bus, which is ideal.
