The little flood happens when using shower indeed, but it does not bother. Also host provided all the stuff like linens, towels, soap and etc - which was surprising as I brought my linens :) The area is very quiet and safe, not so much to do there in October, but as a base point it is a top place.

We came to Salen for skiing in Klappen. The location was great for this. It is 5-10 min. away. And there were trails closeby for country skiing. There is also a place nearby for renting the skiing equipment which is way cheaper rather than renting them from the ski resort. The place is very cozy, the rooms are warm. Also Göran was a very welcoming and hospitable host. It was great talking to you and learning about the area. It was a pleasent stay. :)
