From the hotel-spa to the restaurant and area. We recommend it to anyone wanting a true mountain escape. The food was amazing. The hotel smelled so nice and everything was super clean and looked after. The only little problem was the pillows-not comfortable at all for us. The rest was super super amazing! Just one minute walk there is an ATV and Buggy rentals that give you a tour of the local areas. We chose to go to Poiana Mărului and it was such an amazing experience. Therefore, the area of this hotel was wonderful. Thank you Montis Hotel Staff for making our stay even more wonderful! ❤️

Set in Băile Herculane, 36 km from Iron Gate I, Hotel Versay offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel is beautifully renovated and has a very nice terrace with a great view of the old imperial baths. Breakfast was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the historic center of Bâile Herculane, which means, yes, a lot of the builddings are in need of restauration. My opinion is that one has to look at this part of town as an open air museum. It's beautiful in all its faded charm and the area is fantastic and has so much to offer.
