The swimming pool helps as the weather can be too hot during the day. The breakfast is good, definitely nice location for starting your walk to get to know the city. Rooms are well furnished and well maintained. Keep in mind - no restaurant here, only cafe and breakfast (in the morning).

Surely very beautiful city when built but the nice buildings have grown old and scary because of the decay. Old town better restored- it takes 1 h to go round. All parcs deserve a special mention, mainly the Roses Park- exquisite at this time of year! Small and uninteresting Art museum- 1h visit is long. (The bigest Corneliu Baba collection though). The Banat Museum is closed and has been for several years- don't look on the site, they don't even mention it's closed.. The Village museum far from interesting- nothing to do with the Bucharest or Sibiu one. Buses are ok but you have to buy tickets in advance if you want to travel on week-end(no ticket available at kiosks that are closed and surprisingly not even at the Reception desk- at least for the bus that runs to the Airport!) Taxi: far too expensive and bad experience- it took me round the city and added 3 km to the fee.. realised it when taking the bus back to the city(from the Village museum). I stayed at NH Timisoara for the first 2 days and they were unable to give directions to get to the Village museum, they only said Taxi! However it is easy to reach by bus/or tram- did it on the way back. I don't intend to return.
Interesting city for our first trip to Romania. Ryan air had a very cheap flight from Weeze and we decided to go on adventure while in Europe. We enjoyed the squares and biking by the canal. It's small enough to get around easy. Revolution museum was interesting as well as Banat village museum. During our 3 1/2 day trip we learned a lot about Romanian history. We rented a car which was very affordable and gave us more options. No need to stay in Timisoara city more than 2 days. We were lucky and had great weather and enjoyed the outdoor terraces for a drink and dinner. Not very many tourists is also a plus for us. Next time we go to Romania we plan to travel further out and explore East or South more. Prices are cheap, people are friendly.

City is just amazing. I definitely recomend city centre, local restaurants with romanian food and zoo and Banat museum
The city is a low key city located in Banat. The city itself is small, not much to see. I would not recommend more than 3-5 day stay if that.
Timişoara
As it's named - it's near the forest, which is also a museum of south Banat architecture with old houses delivered from every part of Romania, and it's one of hidden treasures in Timisoara. There's also small shopping mall like 5 minutes walk from apportionment, and every major turist attraction is on 15 minutes approximately by car.
Nice and warm room with clean bathroom. The castle is a perfect place to start a bird watching tour in Serbian Banat. The restaurant serves good food. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast is quite good. I like that it is served early. As for me, there should be more fruit juices for breakfast. Those that are served at breakfast from plastic bottles are not juices. As for the location of the facility, it is not a tragedy, although you can't get anywhere on foot.

Clean, comfortable and cosy rooms. After the renovation this hotel became a luxury place. I hope I'll visit it again. Strong WiFi signal. One more time thank you for including in menu vegan/fasting option for the breakfast - it shows that you really care about all types of guests. Keep it up!
I was accommodated in the completely new premium building, very nice. The hotel is close to the city centre.
