Meeting our hosts and their warm hospitality was a great privilege. They have invested much in this property and a real highlight for us us was to enjoy dinner with them, the table d'hote. We can't speak french but this turned out to be a very enjoyable evening for all of us - both using google translate. We learnt much from Reunion also. The weather was kind to us and we could hike to La Chapelle the next morning. It is in a quite part of Cilaos with of course the Piton des Neiges towering above the town

In case there was no fog (which is unfortunately a thing in the higher parts of Reunion, but you can't blame the hosts for this!!) the view was AMAZING! The dip-in-pool was heated (to around 30 degrees) which was nice. Also the host was really nice because we broke one of the keys while arriving and she didn't charge us anything and was very understanding. All in all - it was a great place to stay and visit lovely Cilaos

Felt very welcomed and like home. Carol was such a kind and attentive host, always in a good mood and ready to help with any questions. Clean and beautiful apartment, very nice house and atmosphere and a beautiful garden. Lovely and fresh breakfast with many options to choose from. My friend and I really much enjoyed our stay at La Villa Soalic and can only recommend this place to stay in Cilaos.

Great location near the centre of Cilaos. Great views. Lovely garden. Nice comfortable apartment. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. This was the second time we stayed at La Belle Créole during our holiday in La Réunion. In between our stays we did a trek in the mountains and the owner let us leave our car and luggage at the property, which was really nice of him.

Good base for Cilaos cirque hiking. Typical small mountain hotel with its "old" charm. Nice view from balcony. Free breakfast is bonus even it is only jam and butter (with juice, coffee, tea or cocoa), to have some cheese or ham would be nice, but for one night stay it was good enough and tasty with small piece of water melon.

Nice small hotel on one of the side streets in Cilaos, close to the main street, but for the walks it is recommendable to go by car to the starting point of the trail. The room had a nice balcony overlooking the garden. the staff was very helpful in recommending close by hiking trails. Breakfast was french, not too many salty options.

The property is very well located within Cilaos. Everything can be reached by foot. Case Nyala also has a very nice garden terrace with a view of the surrounding mountains. At breakfast there is a large choice of homemade jams (about 20 different kinds). The overall property is made up of several colourful creole houses.

Pool surrounded by rocks and tropical plants is certainly beautiful and eyecatcher. Cilaos as such is beautiful and unique. The exterior design of everything is very nice. So if you spend most time outside - fine. Inside functionality and design can‘t keep up. It‘s simple and small.

Wonderful hotel in ideal location for exploring the Cirque de Cilaos! Great views over the mountains from the balcony, extremely clean room, and very nice staff (one of them English-speaking). Impressive breakfast and safe parking for your car in the courtyard. Highly recommended.

The cozy set up and very well equipped apartment. The view on the mountain range including le Piton des Neiges is exceptional, especially from the bedroom. Minutes away from Line 63 bus stops and walking distance from Les Thermes Cilaos and Le Bloc.

The hotel has the best of view in Cilaos ! the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious! the owner was very friendly explained us how get on to next trip. we had a wonderful stay in Cilaos.

Great location in Cilaos with great views from the verandah. Very well equipped kitchen and spacious bedroom with lots of character. Some walks in close proximity and easy to walk into the centre of town

Charming historical hotel in the heart of Cilaos. staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Walks starting right by hotel without the need to take the car. Lovely balcony.

A wonderful little place in the village of Bras-Sec, surrounded by the peaks of the surrounding 'pitons'. The welcome is very warm & stays that way right throughout the stay. A great kitchen & outdoor areas are the perfect places for a meal & a chat.
