Balabag, Boracay
The setting - on Boracay Island in the Philippines, is very much in demand presently. The pool was very nice. Rooms were adequately comfortable but also characterless.
Everything was excellent. The staff were amazing, especially Welvien in the Garden Cafe and the bartender in the pool area. Everyone was very festive for Christmas. The room was great, the private beach chairs are in a prime location, and the resort location is amazing. Everything is very close by and walkable.
The Astoria Boracay was exactly what we needed. Plus getting welcomed immediately off the aircraft into the hotel after a personal Van Boat Ban ride was so nice. Remember to tip. The people are nice. Food was awesome. Staff friendly. Room was very clean and well equipped.
It is very large territory, so large that you can't just walk there, you use shuttles, for us it was quite good and comfortable. Only once it was that we waited for maybe 15 minutes for a next shuttle, usually it is faster. Three times a day there is a shuttle to the white beach, so even though you are quite far from the most popular beach you can easily get there for free. And there is private beach that is really a good one. It is quite beautiful there, several pools, restaurants, activities like Foam Party that happens in one of the pools. The staff is very friendly. In front of the main gait there is a shopping mall.

The location was amazing. The beach and ocean was simply breathtaking. Plenty to eat and do around the hotel. The staff were helpful and courteous. The pool was a lot of fun.
The staff - excellent. The complimentary pick up and drop - and very efficient, well run. Complimentary shuttles to/ from station 1, check in smooth and easy, accommodated early check in and late out, provided a room with jacuzzi with a view! Location - peaceful , yet close to good restaurants.
Great location, clean, comfortable, great food at the restaurant, access to Netflix and Prime in the room, spacious room and balcony, welcome drinks, free beach bag to use (and available for purchase if you'd like), it offered free robe to use, umbrella, toothbrush, comb, shaving kit and a shower cap. It was more than we expected, we are very happy with our stay!

I asked them a favor to make a valentine letter for my boyfriend. And they did more than that. They upgraded our home from standard to family room with the balloon and petals of flower. And the letter attached to the valentine balloon. The room is spacious and clean. The staff are friendly... My bad i forgot to give a tip at the end of our stay due to early stress of flight. Easy access to the beach, room is huge and clean. Swimming pool is great for little children. There was a Christmas Caroles every morning singing by the kids, it was so amazing. Best airport transfer !!!

Staff very courteous, specially staff at the restaurant and beach front. Design of the beach wing room that has access directly to the pool. The hearty breakfast buffet, they change menu every morning - 6 stars Room was enormous and bathroom with tub and rainshower was spacious.

Location was perfect. Not too close yet not too far from the beach. It exceeded my expectations. Private beach, fewer people which is great and of course the white sand beach.
