Located in Los Destiladeros, a few steps from Los Destiladeros Beach, Hotel Pacific Pearl - Playa Los Destiladeros provides accommodations with a restaurant and free private parking. The entire stay, from the staff to the food, to the establishment, to the closeness to the several beaches in the area were what I can only describe as exquisite. The hotel architecture was well thought out, and filled with artisan details. The floors were so clean and shiny, they were like mirrors. The pool area was relaxing and refreshing even just sitting by the pool was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, with lots of different choices, from burgers or chicken fingers and fries, to chow fun, garlic shrimp, etc. The food was fantastic, among the best I've tried so far in my trip thru Panama, as well as large portions. The breakfast was delicious, and it's included in the hotel stay, with traditional Panamanian breakfast and fresh fruits, coffee, juice, and tea. The staff was incredibly professional, yet so welcoming that makes one feel not just cared for but cared about. I would give this hotel 5 stars, I wish we would have stayed longer but we must continue our trip thru the country, however I'm sure we will be back.

Located in Playa Venao, 15 miles from El Cacao, Wao Jungle Venao has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Friendly staff and travelers. Very clean room and facilities. The shower is a little picky to get the temperature right because there's no check valve in the lines. If you don't know what that is it doesn't matter you just have to fiddle with the knobs part of the charm of the place.

Hotel Punta Franca is a hotel in Pedasi that features two outdoor swimming pool and garden. This boutique hotel offers a bar. We loved the water view and the sounds of the ocean hitting the shore. We were lost trying to find the location, so the guys drove all the way out to the main road to find us. They did a phenomenal job.

Located in Pedasí Town, Residencial Santa Catalina Pedasi provides a garden and free WiFi throughout the property. Each room has a balcony. It was off of the Main Street so somewhat quieter. Staff was excellent but minimal due to holidays.

Selina Playa Venao is located in Las Escobas del Venado. Located right on the beach, this bright hostel features free WiFi throughout. Amazing location right on the beach. Loved all the activities especially the morning yoga! The dorms are really well air conditioned and the hammocks on the grass outside the dorms are a great place to relax.
