Was in Ibri for one day work. The hotel is new and all clean with modern finishings. With the value I paid it was an excellent experience. Staff were friendly enough and did not experience any issues. Corridors were noisy as families were staying in some rooms but the room itself was very quite even though it was facing the main road.

Situated next to the Grand Canyons of Oman Jebel Shams provides accommodation including a terrace with a fire pit and panoramic views. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The resort was perfect for the two night stay in the mountains. It is a perfectly well located hotel to reach out the two main hikes in the region: Balcony walk (W6) and Jabal Shams summit walk (W4). Accessible with a normal car, but you have to be a confident driver and drive slow. Breakfast and dinner were very decent given we were only a few guests staying in the hotel. Thanks to that we enjoyed a free upgrade. Views from the hotel over the mountains were spectacular, especially during sunrise/sunset.

I really enjoyed the apartment – it was clean and spacious, easy to reach, and didn’t require a 4x4 vehicle like some other places in Jable Sham. I also really appreciated that the owner organizes excellent mountain excursions – everyone enjoyed them immensely.

Property was fantastic, it had everything for a quiet and peaceful stay. Owner was excellent with his comms and interaction. Food option for dinner was outstanding, home cooked Omani meal.

Set in Dār Sawdāʼ in the Ad Dhahirah region, جبل شمس Jabal Shams sunset House has a garden. This holiday home offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. I haven’t availed the breakfast.
