Could sit outside for breakfast and snacks and wine with the great company of lovely and friendly ducks. We had a great time swimming and kayaking in the bay. We were without car and bus stop is walking distance. We recommend and would stay there again.

The location is perfect, a short walk away from the beach and all of the main restaurants and shops. Couldn’t fault it at all, would definitely stay here again!

The owners and staff were all very helpful, friendly and went above and beyond what we could have asked for. The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. The hospitality was amazing. We felt so comfortable and relaxed in our stay. Our room was very clean and serviced daily.

Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. Jules and Bruce were very welcoming and hospitable. Great to be picked up from the ferry and they were happy to run us around locally if required. Really helpful suggestions on where to go to see and eat and walks etc. Very comfortable room with everything you need for breakfast but no kitchen per se. Nice touch to have milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge.
