Comfort, clean and great location. Staff were great and made excellent recommendations for tours and places to eat. Value for money. Perfect accommodation as you're basically out all day and just sleeping there.

The property has been recently refurbished to a very high standard so the rooms are bright and comfortable with great facilities.

Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. This is a tropical paradise! Lovely room - spotless. Beautiful deck near freshwater swimming. Duck ponds. Walked to bakery for delightful pastries. Brad was the best host - we wish we could have stayed longer!
