Restaurant Perrongen was a highlight for us as the menu was serving local foods. Together with excellent wines, and friendly wait staff, we had a wonderful evening.Breakfast was a typical hotel buffet with some Norwegian style dishes. The room was comfortable with hot shower and comfy bed. There isn’t much happening in Oppdal in September as it is between seasons. We missed out on the musk ox and reindeer.

This is a truly special place! So peaceful and beautiful. A 10 minute drive from Oppdal center, the location is absolutely serene. Lovely breakfast served and attended by friendly and informative. Probably the nicest cabin stay we have ever had in Norway and we have stayed in a lot of cabins!!!
We had a great time! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to spend a few days in Oppdal! It was possible to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The owner was very easy to talk to and it was possible to rent bed sheets.

lovely staff, a beautiful small house with well equipped kichten. Nice hot shower, very clean wooden old house, 7 people could sleep there, we got it just for two of us. Close to the road but didn't hear any noise. Close to the national park with oxes. Great WiFi. We could park close to the entrance.
