I booked two rooms for three of us. The front desk lady kindly checked us in a spacious suite so we could stay together. And the staff came really quick to arrange extra beds. Everything was perfect. The view is great. Breakfast is delicious with many choices. Parking is free. I have been travelling for years and this accommodation is one of a few really deserve a full score.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the sea, Valldal Fjordhotell is located in Valldal, 35 km from Geirangerfjorden. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV. We loved our stay at Valldal. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were wonderful. We only wish the weather had been more clear so we could have seen the gorgeous scenery.

This hotel is located next to the Atlantic Ocean Road on the beautiful island of Håholmen. It offers unique fishing trips, sea safaris and boat cruises. Fantastic place with lots of history. Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.
