BrimiBue Hotel is located in Lom, 400 metres from Lom stave church, and provides free WiFi throughout the property. We stopped here on a drive from Oslo to Ulsteinvik on the coast. The location is perfect to break your journey and the town is charming. The rooms were fabulous — Scandinavian chique — and the kids loved the upper loft area where they slept. The hotel staff was fantastic and were super accommodating. We arrived late and called in advance asking if we could still eat in their award winning restaurant. While we couldn’t have the standard 5 course menu, they kept aside main course and dessert for us. The meal was the best we had in the trip and the service and hospitality was outstanding!

Situated in Skjolden, 30 km from Urnes Stave Church, Skjolden Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. The Skjolden Hotel was the high point of my trip. I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.

This former farm is in picturesque Lom, close to Jotunheim National Park. It offers traditional Norwegian food, Galdhøpiggen Mountain views and excellent hiking opportunities. The atmosphere was amazing. It was a quiet and calm location with nice tracks around to walk with a dog. We took the 4 course dinner with wine and it was a great experience! Breakfast was the best on our 9 day roadtrip.

This mountain inn is quietly located in Bøverdalen valley, right next to Jotunheimen National Park. It offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views. A beautiful location with splendid views. Staff ( 1 person, plus cook ??) was extremely informative and helpful. The beef we had at dinner was superb and tasted even better with the suggested Italian wine. The surrounding area was probably the favorite of our two Norway week trip,especially with the perfect weather we had. Splendid/Tusen takk- Jotunheimen Fellstue
