Location is brilliant, and I really liked Hammerfest, as it is not too small to be bored yet not as touristy/big as other towns in the North of Norway. I washed two items of clothing with the soap in the bathroom and they still smell nice even 4 days afterwards :)

If you want peace and quiet and a lovely view of the Altafjord - then this small family hotel is perfect for you! We had a great two nights. Nice room with very soft bed and spacious bathroom. The breakfasts are delicious and with a wonderful view. There are also common places for relax with massage chairs and sea view. There is also a sauna and free coffee.

The beautiful location right on the waterfront gave us an unobstructed view of the northern lights. The staff were very helpful. They set up a crib for our son, called taxis for us, and gave advice about stores and places that would be open. The best part was breakfast - honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had! Definitely recommend this hotel.

Very helpful in support of my emergency transport needs and information about the local area. The evening buffet was well prepared, having a good selection and was much needed on a cold winter night.
