Beautiful boutique hotel located in a historic building. Each room is very unique. We greatly appreciated the staff's flexibility as the room we originally booked had a very low ceiling which wouldn't accommodate my very tall husband. They cheerfully moved us to a bigger room with a high ceiling overlooking the canal. The room was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern. The staff were exceptional.

Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam is a unique hotel in Amsterdam at the IJ river, at the former location where ships left for Jakarta. Everything was fantastic, including our welcome Prosecco from Timo, the Floor Manager, staff efficiency and friendliness, breakfasts and dinners. My request for a flat pillow was prompt and made my sleep more comfortable. The view from our balcony was always interesting with all the movement on the canal.
