Having travelled through Europe for 30+ years, this was my ideal, perfect, stop over. Absolutely spot on. Exactly what I'm hoping for when traveling. Germany is a safe bet when it comes to cleanliness and good food served without any extra frills, just plain good food, so choosing a good hotel or Gasthof is not much of a gamble. But this place was, for me, extraordinary. It had a wonderful restaurant which included the reception. A very kind and considerate lady welcomed me and followed me to my room. A huge one that was super fresh but still genuine. She told me that her son was the 5th generation running the Gasthof and also informed which waiter was the best in English for my upcoming dinner. So a shower and then into the rustic and lovely Gasthof restaurant. I had tonights special which was veal schnitzel and it was PERFECT together with a glass of Riesling. Just sitting there and enjoying the atmosphere. Next day I met the owner, the son in the house, and complemented him for this achievement. I'd recommend this gasthof/hotel to anyone. Absolutely ideal. It only took 30 years to find it. :-) Another bonus is that coming from Stockholm there is one main obstacle you want to avoid. The traffic jams of Hamburg and in particular the Elbes tunnel. In best case it's an extra 30 mins but during holidays and rush hour it can be very daunting. I found this hotel on Booking and choose it because it seemed fresh and was just south of the Elbe river so that next day I would have passed it and have a fresh start continuing south to Alsace. It's a 1000 kms drive from Stockholm and some kms before Hamburg centre my GPS showed me an alternative route. It took me through smaller streets but I was running and I crossed the Elbe via bridges and found this Gasthof in Hohenluft. And it was great to get going without any traffic jam worries.

O New Wave oferece jardim, lounge compartilhado, terraço e restaurante em Norderney. The room was very comfortable and nice to live. If I will ever go to Norderney, I would definitely stay here again. It felt like we were welcome there. Many little gifts on the way, kindness of the personal. We didn't make it to the last ferry, and this problem was solved via phone in 1 minute. Really appreciate!

Very spacious room, very clean, we had the mini apartment and it was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed The view from the room is gorgeous and the air conditioner works very well. Very close to the center and restaurants. Definitely reccomand.

O Historik Hotel Garni Christinenhof está situado em um edifício de madeira restaurado do século XVII, no centro histórico de Hameln. The staff was so polite and ready to help, breakfast wonderful, perfect location to visit historic centre of Hameln. I definitely recommend the hotel..

Este hotel está tranquilamente localizado no bairro norte de Isernhagen, em Hanôver, a 3 minutos da autoestrada A7. This is the hotel to put all other hotels in the shade. A five star experience at a 3 star price. The rooms were very generous in space including the bathroom, down duvets and down pillows (all antiallergic), so no sweating under artificial fibres like in other hotels. The stuff exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are communal rooms for everybody to use incl. a terrace, bordered by a very well kept gaarden, so we could have drinks on the terrace in the evening. In the tea kitchen all sorts of drinks are provided against payment into an honesty box incl. various sorts of beer and wine, tea and coffee and more. There is even a drawer with useful items that travellers might have forgotten to bring like toothbrushes or toothpaste. We felt very much at home there and the beds were a dream. We slept like on clouds. I'd like to wrap this hotel up and take it with me wherever I travel.

This new design hotel is located at the spa park in the centre of Braunlage, within a 10-minute walk of the cable car and ski slopes. Hotel Viktoria offers a sun terrace and free parking. The location was perfect and the staff so friendly and helpful.

Situado em Damme, a 38 km da Catedral do Tesouro, o Hotel Damme oferece acomodações com jardim, estacionamento privativo gratuito, lounge compartilhado e terraço. What a wonderful place. The staff was incredibly friendly. The beds and room were very comfortable. The breakfast was good. They even baked waffles for the kids. Would love to go again.
