Mellow Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Gemastepe. This property is gorgeous! It is the most luxurious accommodation I’ve seen in Nica yet. The cabanas have beautiful bathrooms and full windows with great views of the ocean, air conditioning and huge showers. The staff is incredible and the head chef is very talented. The fish tacos were so tasty and the coffees and espressos are delicious! The pool is super refreshing and well appointed and the beach is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel with a great wave for surfing. But if you never left Mellow and stayed there the whole time you would not be disappointed. It’s very quiet and relaxing, and there is a group of very friendly dogs “guarding” the property (they are so so sweet). Nathan the owner is so helpful and kind, I can’t recommend it more highly! 10/10

Comfortable seating outside of the rooms. Fantastic shower. The best in the whole of our journey through Central America so far. Convenient for the town, just a short walk.
