With mountain views, Okonjima Plains Camp is located in Otjiwarongo and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Very nice game reserve with lots of animals roaming around and amazing service. Great quality food and leopard tracking was fantastic.

Offering an outdoor pool, barbecue and sun terrace, Aloegrove Safari Lodge is located 40 km away from Otjiwarongo. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with mountain or pool views. We really enjoyed our stay here - the location on a hill is just stunning, you can see for miles and miles in all directions. We stayed in the standard rooms and found them very nice - very comfortable, clean, spacious rooms with a large balcony and a fantastic view. Dinner was delicious, service excellent. We really enjoyed the game drive with Johan and Ivy, visiting and learning about the three big cats that they are caring for - it is clear they are both passionate about the conservation work. We stayed two nights here, and also visited the nearby CCF (easy to reach using the private backroads) which we enjoyed. Aloegrove is well worth a two night stopover!

The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The service and staff were excellent.
