Grunau Country Hotel in Grünau has 2-star accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).

With sea views from every room, Lüderitz Nest Hotel features a private tidal beach and jetty, as well as an outdoor pool. A sauna, restaurant terrace and bar all overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Great staff and facilities with comfortable rooms. The food was excellent too.

Mount D'Urban Campsite is located in Helmeringhausen. This campground features a pool with a view, barbecue facilities and free private parking. The accommodation offers a fireplace. We had an amazing one night stay in Mount D'Urban Campsite. Comfortable camping and very good ablutions. The owner was super kind and helpful! Definitely recommend it! We'll be back soon ☺️

We were warmly greeted by Phylicia and she was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment which catered perfectly for our every need. Phylicia has thought of absolutely everything and supplies so many convenient things for a traveller… think cooking oil, coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, butter and more. There is even a selection of toiletries in case you forgot yours. The hosts live on site and it was like being welcomed to a new family, which is so nice when you’re so far from home. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.

Units is very clean and sufficient everything you need is there. Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. The hike on the farm was wonderful. Beds are very comfortable. Will definitely visit again
