Kangar è un posto che definire città é un po' troppo. Ci siamo spinti fin lá per visitare di domenica il mercato di Wang Kelian, citato nel guida della Lonely Planet e andare al Taman Negara Perlis. Per non farla lunga, dico solo che è stata una vera perdita di tempo e spreco di giorni che avremo potuto passare in qualche altro posto. Non andarci! Non c'è nulla ma proprio nulla che valga la pena vedere. Il mercato è un raduno di bancarelle che vendono le solite cineserie. Di artigianato non c'è proprio niente. Il parco è in tale stato di abbandono che abbiamo pensato fosse chiuso al pubblico. Per lo piu non ci sono autobus ne posti dove noleggiare un motorino o altro che permetta di spostarsi. Bisogna per forza prendere sempre il taxi. Il Perlis è davvero una regione che turisticamente non offre nulla!
