We stay at Mama’s for 5 nights with our family and couldn’t recommend it higher. The cabins are simple but comfortable and it is a lovely location. We looked out over the water to the other island in hammocks. It is a 5 min walk to the best beach on the whole of the Perhentians- we saw sea turtles grazing on sea grass everyday. Mama’s restaurant is also the best priced restaurant in the area with the yummiest food.

Perhentian Bay Chalet is located on the beachfront in Perhentian Island, 600 metres from Petani Beach and 1.5 km from Tuna Bay. This is a very new hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff has a great attitude, and the owner's hospitality is attentive. Everyone is very polite. This place is perfect for a slow-paced lifestyle.

The property was very close to the beach (literally seafront) and very clean. It is probably one of the best stay in Fisherman Village. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed especially regarding the price. Nadia and her husband were very friendly and helpful. They were available at any time whether it was to book a taxi boat 5 minutes before or to help us with our room. They even allowed us to check in two hours before the normal time which they did not have to do at all.

The host was super nice with us! He helped us booking everything while we were in the Island (boats, cash, etc) and provide everything we asked for! Would definitely recommend:)
