View from the balcony was better than the pictures. Staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service at certain times of day to the main town center (including bus station drop off/pick up) which was very helpful, as were the free water refill stations (filtered water). Breakfast had a good choice & was tasty. Easy to book day tours if you were interested. Nugget & Oreo were also a wonderful bonus to our stay.

Facilities - very clean and nice. common pantry area in the cabin is clean, well-equipped, with free tea and coffee, kettle, sink, cutlery, cooking equipment, fridge (we could put the strawberries we had bought inside!), knife (so we could cut the fruits we had bought), water dispenser. the lounge is really cosy, quiet, comfy, good vibes all around. one afternoon we were originally planning to hang out at a cafe in the town center, but because the guesthouse lounge was so comfy, we ended up spending the whole afternoon there! the toilets are also super clean, dry, superb. Room is basic, comfy, clean - floor is tiled so gets a bit cold, so you'll need to bring your own slippers or socks to wear indoors. Location - really good! a chill 7 min walk from the town center, bus terminal, food places, etc. Very convenient to walk over for meals and everything!

It was situated in a shopping complex with plenty of choices for eating and drinking, as well as small stores for buying basics. There is also a travel / booking shop on the ground floor run by a very helpful lady. Just a few minutes walk away, there were many small restaurants. Most nights, I ate Indian tandoori food - delicous and reasonably priced. The apartment was well placed for walks around the area, including to the petting zoo (ideal for children) and onward on a short jungle trek to a waterfall.
