Everything!!!!! The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. We checked in late evening, dropped off our stuff in our room and straight for dinner. The staff was phenomenal, greeted us right away and ask if we had any questions on menu. Would definitely recommend it to stay here. If we had any issues they fixed it right away. Walking distance to the beach and the pool just beautiful.

Arriving to Tampico was extremely dangerous. Actually we were shot at. State of Tamaulipas is not safe at all. The city people were friendly but also concerned for their safety. There were no police patrolling the city. Military is the only option if you have a problem.
Great food all around town, tons of options, from tacos on the sidewalk to upscale steakhouses. I recommend people to try the breakfast at the “Los Ajos” restaurant. Not a super high end place but fantastic taste and service. Just to be safe, we limited our activities to daylight hours. As soon as night fell we stayed at the hotel. It’s still the Tamaulipas state.
