Featuring a garden, a restaurant as well as a bar, NaNa Vida Hotel Oaxaca is located in the centre of Oaxaca City, 10 km from Monte Alban. Location was fantastic as well as the staff. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Courtyard and grounds were lovely. Staff was always super eager to please offering water, mezcal or whatever you might want when you arrived at the hotel after a long day. Bonus was the white noise machine and ear plugs in room as birds were a bit noisy in the morning. Also thought the “gifts” were a really nice touch. Would choose this hotel again if ever in Oaxaca.

Despite not being in the centre, there were 3 great restaurants a few minutes walk away - Mexican, Moroccan and Wholefood. Our outlook was onto a sweet little garden. Refillable bottled water was always available. The staff were always at reception. Good morning coffee was served downstairs and was included. The room was light and well fitted out, with a small balcony and two fans, one in the ceiling which we much preferred to aircon. A pleasant 25 minute walk into the centre of town . Perfect for us and very relaxing at the end of hot, busy days

I loved it here! It was such a cute, brand-new property a very short walk into San Agustinillo. The semi-outdoor shower (with hot water and great water pressure!) was amazing as was the very comfortable bed. The pools were fun and the staff was very nice. I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but the chef of the pizza restaurant attached to the hotel is a well-known pizza chef formerly of La Termita (which I loved before they sadly closed). Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
