We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the central location to visit Sierra Gorda. Amazing staff, very clean, comfortable, well equipped. Nice pool. Highly recommended.

Set in Río Verde, El Molino Hotel Boutique is built on the vestiges of an 18th-century sugar cane mill and features an outdoor pool, lush gardens and a restaurant. Its a beautiful and private place. I loved the garden and mature trees. I liked that its run and managed by a family. You will feel safe, because its gated. Its clean, its confortable and a good price. I will for sure come again to this place. My kids enjoyed the place. If theyre happy im happy.

We could walk to our family’s house. That’s was perfect. We easily found taxis to and from the city.

The property and rooms are much more beautiful than you can tell in the photos— we were in an oasis from the time we entered the property. The check in staff was friendly and professional, and the rooms are spacious, very clean, and smell like a spa. The staff will ask you what you’d like for breakfast the next day, and they prepare it for you as you sit in the garden dining area. Coffee is great, and attention to detail is exceptional. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the city center, where I’d recommend Tacos Don Lalo— they were some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. The streets around the hotel are a little bit dark, but we saw so many locals walking about—kids running around, women walking alone— so I felt comfortable walking in town in the evenings.
