Clean, comfortable, good amenities. 24 hrs front desk. Coffee/tea area 24 hours open, with filtered water and soda water. Good breakfast included (fruits, fresh scrambled eggs, fresh salsa, yoghurt, etc. My stay was one day we extended for 2 more days The employees were nice and helpful Quiet area. Feels safe. Some taquerias close by but they close early.

Featuring an outdoor pool and a casino, San Nicolas Hotel & Casino is set in the centre of Ensenada and is 1 km from the city’s port. Its rooms offer pool, city or sea views. I was a little worried about the casino but the hotel is well separated and there is no problem at all with noise or anything else having to do with the casino. The location was great and it was an easy walk to the waterfront as well as all the restaurantes on 1st in centro.

This Baja California Peninsula hotel is within a 5-minute drive of the US/Mexican border. Guests at the hotel can play in the casino or relax in their cozy room. The staff are great. There is a varied menu and the food was always banging (amazing). Room service is efficient and was so handy to have available while I was stuck in an all day meeting. I forget the name of the chap on the bar near the sports room, but he's a top man! The level of English is varied but it doesn't deter staff from trying their best to help you. Hopefully next time my Spanish will be more than saying I can't speak Spanish :D I would like to say that the casino is quite varied and I was really happy to see actual card tables and not those boring ePOS machines. The dealers are charismatic and entertaining.
