This tropical hideaway in Poste de Flacq offers luxurious air-conditioned suites and villas with Indian Ocean views. It has secluded beaches and the exclusive Le Barachois floating restaurant. Fantastic 5* resort! Our junior suite was clean and spacious and conveniently located next to a swimming pool. The hotel is 25 years old, but it is kept in a pristine condition. There are a lot of top-class amenities and a number of high-quality restaurants — we liked every dish we had during our stay. Both swimming pools are exceptional, and there is a wine cellar and a sauna. Above all, we enjoyed a library. You literally have to go for One&Only, which is in a totally different price range, to (slightly) beat Prince Maurice when it comes to the quality of the facility. Senior staff members in WhatsApp concierge service (such as Imtiaz, Yash and Phoung) are qualified and helpful with reservation of restaurants and activities. When our return flight was cancelled due to a strike, they managed to prolong our stay for one night — despite a short notice and low availability during high season. We specifically looked for a hideaway resort, hence we enjoyed the distant location of Prince Maurice and absolute silence at nights. Those looking for nightlife and Mauritian street vibes should consider hotels located in the coastal towns.

Located in Belle Mare, SeaSense Boutique Hotel is a 5-star beachfront property with sea view rooms. The Adults-Only resort boasts a heated infinity swimming pool, a fitness center and a spa. I liked and enjoyed absolutely everything about this hotel. People who work in this hotel are the sweetest human beings I have ever met! I had some small situation when I did not feel well bc of sunburn, and the way how I was treated and everyone took care of me was incredible. Food is pure heaven! The hotel has a calm very luxurious atmosphere and when it comes to design, it is just stunning. I felt like I am living in a dream and I cannot wait to come back :)

Stretching along 2 km of private beachfront and with an offshore coral reef, Constance Belle Mare Plage includes 7 restaurants and 6 bars. Absolutely paradise! Can’t recommend enough! 10/10 for hospitality, food, location, attention to details, atmosphere!

Set along the white sandy beach on the East Coast of Mauritius in Belle Mare, The Residence offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. It features an outdoor swimming pool and spa centre with a sauna. The best thing of this hotel is the staff! Seeing in our travel period the occupancy was under 20% we stayed a week and a big thanks to all the staff.Without them no hotel no hotel is anything! We were greater daily by the breakfast team with a wonderful breakfast buffet! Many thanks to Julie,Yasmin,Jessica,Bandana and our Chef Moonsamy who probably makes the best omelette we have tasted! The evening restaurant team and bar always made sure everything was fine with a 5 star rotation buffet menu! Special thanks to the Chef Sanguy who always had a smile for us and a small story! The whole kitchen team was fabulous! The hotel has many features and we enjoyed the beaches there and the pool! The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping crew with the floor butler looked after everything perfectly! Front office staff were very professional with concierge and the gardeners look after the property so it was a pleasure to enjoy the nature! I can recommend this hotel to travelers who want to relax and enjoy sophisticated food and service! My wife and son will be back and thanks to all involved to make our week stay memorable!

Picture a place along the wild and unspoilt east coast of Mauritius. On one side, sprawling fields; on the other, a turquoise lagoon. A simple place to disconnect and reconnect. The staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon such a great and memorable experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Home sweet home – with your toes in the sand. Sipping a cocktail whenever the mood takes you. Watching the fishermen as they set out across the water. Dipping your feet in the ocean. The breakfast was delicious. I loved the Taba J corner. Enjoying simple and delicious food. The room was spacious and clean. Thank you Ravi and team.

Leave your watches and alarms behind; at Tropical Attitude, time becomes fluid and minutes stretch to let us enjoy pure relaxation. The people were very friendly, the bar and food is good! It was really nice and everyone was very helpful! Nazima made beautiful art works of the towels and the room was very clean. We loved our stay!
