We wanted a nice place near Ostrog Monastery to do an early visit there, and Hotel Sokolane delivered perfectly. A little bit more than 10 minutes drive from the nonastery, Sokoline has great views of the surrounding area (including the valley, the hills and the monastery itself). You can enjoy the views either from the restaurant upstairs (where breakfast is also served) or the balcony of your own room which is otherwise spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is also very nice.

Clean, stylish and comfortable. Owner spoke excellent English and was willing to drive me to my next destination, as well as show me around the town and teach me a little Montenegrin.

The hosts could not do enough: they shared their homemade wine, entertained with local knowledge and humour, and prepared an amazing breakfast - I felt instantly at home! Tents are modern and cosy and feel secluded - I suppose it helped that I was the only one there on the first weekend of September. Bird life abounds and the night sky is stunning.

Beautiful countryside cottage. Very quiet. The owner and her son were very polite and helpful. My dog loved the front yard. I recommend it!
