Hotel Dar Zitoune Taroudant is an environmentally conscious Riad located in the heart of the Souss region in the south of Morocco. This is the 2nd time we stay at Dar Zitoune & it is still excellent. The rooms are large, spacious & elegant decorated in a Euro/Moroccan style. Each with a private seating area outside. The gardens separating the rooms are lush & create a sense of privacy. There are 3 pools, the main is enormous with seating all around. Service & staff are very attentive, gentle & friendly. One gets the sense that they are proud to work there. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent & the kitchen will accommodate any request.

Salah collected us from Agadir and was very helpful and gave plenty of information. A really informative guide. He organized a driver over the mountains to Marrakech who was really wonderful. a tricky special day driving but a little scary. the breakfast was 👌

The room was nice, clean, bed was comfortable and large. There is a beautiful, well-kept garden around. It is a quiet and safe place where you can relax. The hotel checked us in late in the evening, while the receptions of other places are closed. I recommend this hotel to everyone who has a car. .

It’s modern, very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything one needs and it feels like home. It was the best place we have stayed in Morocco. Taroudant was my favourite. Veronica and Khalid are amazing, friendly and inviting owners. The information they give on things to do is exceptional. The environment is peaceful and just a short walk into the main Medina.
