Beautiful and quiet surroundings in the middle of the palm grove! Right next to the Caravanserail Museum, which was very interesting to see. Our host, Nordine is a one man show. He cooks the breakfast and dinner, both very good. Very filling! And he made the best coffee I’ve had so far in Morocco!! We didn’t have time to partake, but he did escort 4 guests to the hot springs. Even tho he doesn’t speak much English and us, not too much French, he was a gracious host and did his best to make us feel welcome! And you can’t beat the price!

We loved our stay at Maison Nomades so much that we decided to stay longer, it was an amazing experience! The area is huge and beautiful, you can easily stay the whole day at the hotel and just chill next to lush vegetation at different corners of the hotel, all while sipping some yummy hot mint tea. Breakfast is nice and plentiful and it's a treat to eat it outside while overlooking the patio or the palm trees. The best part of the hotel, however, is the staff: Ibrahim, the owner, is incredibly nice, generous and he helped us with so much! He even organized a really cool New Year party with local musicians for all the residents of the hotel. The kitchen and cleaning staff was also super friendly. Also, the hotel offers various tours with locals if you are interested. You can also do some walks in the oasis. As for the location, you are about 15 minutes far away from Guelmim, but if you don't have a car (like us), it's no problem, Ibrahim will help you with getting to the oasis. What a host, we felt truly welcome and even with the language barrier, the help of Google translate we were chatting and laughing the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived early afternoon and were made food and tea straight away and a wonderful tagine in the evening provided by Fatima was delicious. Great location great for watching sunset and then star gazing. Would 100% return if we visit the area again.
