The 3-star hotel Latgale is located in the town of Rezekne, just 400 metres from the Culture and History Museum and 150 metres from The United for Latvia Monument. Free Wi-Fi is available. Rated from a backpackers point of view, it was excellent. I had a single room with a balcony. It was very clean with ironed linens. Comfortable and practical small, but big enough, room with a kettle and a private bathroom. And the most fabulous view from the balcony. Green areas as far as I could see, and a white church in front of it. Even better, you get a wonderful sunset from here as well. There is a fishing net on the balcony, but it doesn't block the view, and it's there to keep the pigeons away. The hotel is staffed 24h, so if you arrive early, you can store your luggage. I was lucky and even got my room early. That way I could catch the green synagogue which has very limited opening hours. Cold drinks for sale in the reception. Coffee machine in the lobby and good WiFi as well.

The Kolonna Hotel Rezekne is a 3-star hotel in the centre of the eastern Latvian city of Rezekne, directly on the banks of the Rezekne River. Right around the corner from GORS. Quiet, lovely, comfortable and convenient.

An excellent choice if you're passing through this sweet town. The apartment feels spacious, and it offers free parking directly outside. It isn't intuitive to find (which side of the building to enter, which door to use, which floor to go to, which key fits into which door...so ask the host for clear and specific details) but you're rewarded when you make it! The fixtures are new, the bed is comfortable, the wifi is fast and the sauna is outstanding and the host was very quick to respond for any questions we had (including how to work the sauna). There were some items in the kitchen that could have benefitted from a more thorough clean, but generally this is an excellent choice and definitely a comfortable and enjoyable night's stay.

Offering free WiFi and city views, Elen White Apartment is an accommodation located in Rēzekne. The apartment is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, cycling and fishing. Great location, the flat was clean and well decorated, there was everything one should need for a short stay, even an oven for those who love cooking! Thank you! The only minus for us was the loud street next by as we kept the windows in the ventilation mode during the night but it's the price for being so well located. :))
