Small room with view to the street. Hotel is nice, parking was right next to the hotel, which was next to the castle. Breakfast was very good, quite lot of options (cold buffet). City of Wiltz is small, nice, with some WW2 relics (tank f.e.) and observatory tower. Also recommend (if you are interested in WW2) Schumannseck, which is memorial forest few km from Wiltz, were heavy fights occured during Battle of Bulge.
Esch-sur-Sûre is as pretty a village as the come. Starting with helping us park, our host went out of his way to explain how we could be experience the town, the hotel and its spa and dining facilities, none of which disappointed.
It had everything ( just bad luck the pool was under maintenance:-(( it has a restaurant, a terrace were I could walk my old dog and it felt safe; parking; a room with a view : to the river and forest; to the little square with old dim street lamps; we even had a bit of snowy night

Everything, location good, nice pool and great food
Excellent location a super friendly, accommodating staff. (We were running late and had to check in late after hours. We contacted BOOKING.com. THEIR representative told us "Sorry, but there's nothing we can do. Your late check in request has been denied". We were so worried there won't be any staff available to check us in. We tried 3x's to reach out to BOOKING.com. Each time we were told they could not help us and we would have to find another hotel. It was late, nothing appeared to open in this small town. We were 30 minutes late after posted hours. We decided to just go to the hotel and see if someone was there. Fortunately there was a single Front Desk employee waiting for us. She unlocked the door and we were immediately greeted with a "Welcome to our hotel. We were waiting for you, make yourself feel at home and please let us know if you need anything at all." We were so relieved the staff waited for us and didn't turn us away. As for BOOKING.com, they were not so helpful in a this already stressful situation. Thank goodness someone at this fabulous hotel had a heart. We will definitely stay there again... and be on time next visit!
Room is good, better than expected. Good toilet and shower. The restaurant was exceptionally well. A true ‘herberg’ in the positive sense.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful village. Nice room with the views to the two sides, good buffet-style breakfast, and brilliant location. There are a lot to do in the area, especially if you like the nature/hiking. Excellent hiking trails with amazing views over the village and the river of Sure/Sauer. We definitely would stay again!

Front desk staff and breakfast staff were wonderful and helpful. Of special note, they arranged an early breakfast for us ahead of our hike. Excellent breakfast each morning. Some of the best fresh breads and granola I've had. Hotel is centrally located with plenty of eating and drinking options near by.
- Staff was really forthcoming. - The room was prepped for someone with mobility limitations and was enormous with the best to offer (space, shower and beds adapted) huge veranda too. As a side-note: there was a party that made some noise in the -1 level restaurant, and when I complained it was duly noted. The next morning one of the managers (Cindy W.) did her best to appease us and suggest some type compensation. Really professional and with a smile.
