I worked 31 years in hotel management in the US. When I checked in my room, there was a lot of trash leftover under the sink in the bathroom. She offered me dinner to compensate. We call that empowerment. She took a negative experience and turned it into a positive experience. The food is excellent. Banana dessert was exceptional. The grounds are clean, and what a beautiful setting with the lake.

This boutique hotel is situated right next to a public beach in Ignalina - you can swim, rent canoes (and many other things) or use outdoor gim. Hotel is new and comfortable. We stayed in Superior for 4 people, which in fact consists of 2 separate rooms and a terrace with lake view. Rooms was very clean and equipped with AC. Breakfast was freshly made and really delicious. We will definitely come back!
