The owner, Sandra, is so considerate that she combined our two separate bookings (different types of room) into one. Also she helped us book the taxi to town. The room (quantraople, the one we actually stay) is spacious. The kitchen is well-functioned. The apartment is centrally located with lake view and boat to use. Simply put, it is a marvelous place to stay. The only downside is the wifi connection in door is poor. It works well around the kitchen area.

It is deep in the countryside so you must bring food and provisions with you. They can provide a little barbecue on request. Once you arrive, you don't want to leave. The temperature of the lake was perfect, so clean and refreshing. There is also a hot tub and sup boards that guests can rent. The host was very responsive to my questions once I arrived. The room was so comfortable and quiet. There is a kettle, cutlery, and a fridge (although it wasn't connected and was rather hot so I didn't use it). The bathroom and towels were very nice too.

Location was convenient to food store in Ignalina and also a food truck The Forrest Grill where I got simply the best burger I every had, a nearby hotel for sit down meals, and a really good outdoor grill (shashlyshnaja). Plenty of room in the house. Jolanta was a very accommodating hostess. The local honey she gave us was fantastic, but we could not bring it back to the US. We were permitted to eat anything in the greenhouse, and we enjoyed the cucumbers. Having a dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer was so convenient, The lake was nice, but the boat seemed a little unsteady on the water according to my friend who is knowledgeable. The cleanliness of the local water was spectacular. It was like spring water out of the tap. A little petrol station very close with snacks and drinks to buy. Close to Svencioneliaia where my friends and the church they have pastored for at least 25 years. I will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Lithuania.

Perfect location, very nice, well furnished apartment with everything you need for the rest near the lake shore. The hosts were lovely,helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend staying at this apartment while visiting Nacional park of Aukštaitija.

You will find everything you will need here! This year an addition of a roof over the table and swings for kids. The quiet surroundings, the beach, the fireplace… Looking forward to visit next time!
