Tishan Holiday Resort is located in Bendiwewa in the region of Polonnaruwa. The archaeological area is 3.5 km away from Tishan Hotel. Hotel features a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Our room was extremely clean and that seems to be rare in Sri Lanka. There was no humidity marks at all in our room. The outside pool area is just so beautiful. The pool is super clean, went for a great swim. The property is surrounded by rice fields and has plenty of wildlife.The rooms are a little out dated but thats ok since everything else is great and clean. Plenty of workers trimming plants and cleaning property. Breakfast buffet also was great. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We stayed for one night at the lovely heritage villa in Polonnaruwa. Although it's only a couple of minutes away from the busy streets with restaurants, supermarkets and bus stops, it's located in a very quiet neighbourhood. You've got the rice paddies right behind the terrace - if you're lucky you can see peacocks, chipmunks, parakeet and other birds. The owners are very accommodating and did their best to make us feel right at home! The AC was a real life saviour in the summer heat. Big thanks again to the mom for the amazing Sri Lankan breakfast (savory & sweet - so good!!!) as well as the brothers for being so dependable. See you next time!

Situated in Polonnaruwa, within 2.3 km of Polonnaruwa Clock Tower and 2.6 km of Deepa Uyana, Aura Villa features accommodation with a garden and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. - a/c and fan is in the room - clean bedroom and toilet - beautiful garden and view - comfortable bed - quiet place - cute cat - you can request lunch and dinner if you like - beautiful and designed building - nearby the Potgul temple (1km away) In overall we really loved the place 10/10. Even though there wasn't wifi (recommend getting a sim card at the airport). Breakfast is simple but for the price of stay it is really good value! I can highly recommend this place!

The owner is very kind and ready to help us feel comfortable. The place is very peaceful but not too far from the ruins. The room is very clean and has a big balcony. The wifi worked great. When we told the owner we had to leave very early at 6.30 am., he packed a simple breakfast for us. Very good value

Located in Polonnaruwa, 3.1 km from Gal Viharaya, Hotel Lake Park provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I stayed at Lake Park Hotel for two nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, and the boat ride organized by the hotel was a highlight—well worth the money! The rooms were comfortable and offered stunning views of the lake, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Staff is very friendly and smiling and always try to help. Food is also very tasty, and you can reserve a safari from the hotel itself. Pool is very large and can be classified as an infinity pool. Would recommend staying here.
