Situated in Sen Monorom, 42 km from Bousra Waterfall, Sumeru features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The owners have built this with a wonderful eye for detail, including the view, the peace, each ‘cabin’ is equipped with a kettle, mini fridge, and very comfortable beds. The food was home grown, home made and delicious. The owners helped with transport to the town , a local tour, booking onward buses and were very knowledgeable about anything needed.

Very helpful staff speaking excellent English. The owner, Andrea, is a real joy to chat with. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean with hot water showers. But the real treat here is the restaurant ! The owner is italian and has managed to set up a wonderful restaurant serving authentic homemade italian food. The pasta is made by hand on site, as are all the desserts. He even had gluten free pasta ! It was by far the best meal I’ve eaten in Cambodia. On my next trip to Mondulkiri, I will be sure to stay and eat here.

For the price you can absolutely not complain, of course it's not going to be perfect and absolutely stunning inside, but what do you expect for something priced so cheaply? Staff were great, organised our food, tuk tuk, everything, the room was great (again, for the price) and if was the first place we had actual hot water, and beaut view. We stayed here and got picked up for the Mondulkiri elephant project. When we came back from the jungle, we stayed back here again.

They have all you need for a calm and peaceful getaway. The team reached out to us before hand to ensure everything was ready for our arrival. Chhut Thy was super helpful and just a message away if we needed anything for our room. We had an early checkout, and he had a breakfast box ready for our next trip. They were even nice enough to upgrade our room as well. The staff are friendly. Everything is clean within the rooms and even fitted with cute decor.

This place is magical: the view from the pool with the valley and tree of life, your own private view from the room, the good food, wines and coffee in the restaurant combined with the friendly staff. The on side coffee tour is fun to do. Highly recommend staying here!

Really recommend the cooking class, we enjoyed it a lot. We booked 2 extra nights because we loved it so much
