Offering an outdoor pool, garden and a restaurant, Jannat House is located in Lamu Old Town. It is situated a short walk away from the Waterfront and the Main Road. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Staff was wonderful. Extremely accommodating. They were able to meet us at the airport and the pier and lead us to the hotel. Which I recommend as the old town area of Lamu is a bit of a maze. The building has super authentic architecture and lots of outdoor areas to relax.

Located around 600 metres from 18th Century Swahili House Museum, the hotel is also 400 metres away from Riyadha Mosque. the design was close to the local architecture, a fusion os Spanish Swahili architecture. very clean and with great security and privacy the staff were amazing, the manager Leah very responsive, resourceful and friendly. Morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the harbour…. The village of Shela is lovely. No cars. Clean beaches.
