Located in Chichibu, Saitama region, Classic ＆ modern SELF-STYLED HOTEL 番場おおそね is set 36 km from Mitsumine Shrine. The staff was delightful. We came on a very rainy day, so we were a little tired and wet getting there. However, the staff provided us a nice overview of the property with a warm cheerful greeting. They had umbrellas for us to use. I loved all the tourist information in the lobby. We do not speak Japaneses well, but they were very helpful. I felt the modern aesthetics were nice and it was very clean to me. One thing that caught my attention was the toothbrushes they provided were a nice design to hold. This is a funny comment, but I've stayed at many upscale hotels and this little detail was a real delight!

It was out of our expectation but yeah get the breakfast if you haven't so! I also did not expect the hotel to have an onsen but it did! It is clean and a good size. Water temp is so comfortable. Location is great as it is just a short 6mins walk near to the station but not at the busy streets.
