The hotel is located within a walking distance from Sendai station and the shopping street is just a stone throw away so it is very convenient. The staff speaks good English which is a surprise and a bonus since it is a traditional Japanese hotel. The room is a bit small but not a problem. It has a big window allowing the sunlight in. The breakfast buffet is the best and worth every penny. It serves high-quality food and very tasty too. The best part of the hotel is the onsen on the top floor. It is perfect for relaxation after a long day.

Conveniently situated in the Aoba Ward district of Sendai, Henn na Hotel Sendai Kokubuncho is set 18 km from Shiogama Shrine, 1 km from Sakuraoka Daijingu and 1.2 km from Sendai Station. Situated in the main street of Sendai, very close to the metro, my room was on the other side of the street so it was very quiet there. Insulation is also excellent so no sounds from the neighbours could be heard. The room is super big, especially for Japanese hotels, and had its own clothes steam cabinet so you could steam them whenever you wanted. Breakfast is super delicious, there are only two options however. I was in the hotel for 2 weeks but never got tired of the pasta option.

Set just a 5-minute walk from Sendai Station, APA Hotel TKP Sendai Eki Kita offers rooms with air conditioning in Sendai. It has a good quality price-ratio, as all the APA hotels I think. We were there for only one night, so there isn't much to say, but the room was quiet and it had good air conditioning (even if the machine was a bit dusty I think), which was great since it was so hot otherwise.
