Loved the relaxed atmosphere of the place - right on the beach ( very very quiet , even in high season). The cabins are not big but they have everything you need and you spend most of your time on the terrace or beach chairs ( or hammocks) anyway. It was exactly what we hoped it would be ( after 3 weeks of cities and sightseeing)

Hotel Sundays Amami is situated in Amami, within 500 metres of Yanigawa Shopping Street and 600 metres of Tida Mall Shopping Street. The onsen was nice and good for relaxing in the evening. The room was clean and quite modern.

I really liked it here I thought it was just a shop at first and it was actually the hotel lol. So I shopped and was able to just leave my car where I parked. I stayed for 3 nights and it was very comfortable. There's a great izakaya next door and the staff made me reservations at a couple restraunts which was very helpful. I loved my stay and this island is incredible. If you have a car nesari coffee is the best and not far from here.

Situated just a 3-minute walk from Naze Port, Amami Port Tower Hotel boasts spacious public baths and a restaurant on the 10th floor with great ocean views. Cheap and cheerful. Lovely staff. Tiny room but it's at a great location to get the A-Line ferry that leaves early in the morning and the ferry terminal is a literal stones throw away.
