What a gem of a find. Do not let the two stars deter you. There is no way this hotel is only 2 stars. It is 4 stars!! Rooms are huge, we had the junior suite due to free upgrade offered through booking.com. Huge spa in our room, stunning bathroom, balcony, room service, fantastic fresh breakfast. Beautiful, helpful hosts. You must stay here. Little bit of a walk to restaurants. Parking included and very safe behind a boom gate.

Very nice & cozy family owned business. The hotel garden is lovely, so is the hotel pool. Dario & Paola are the best hosts ever, taking care of their guests at Hotel Ideal! They constantly made sure we had everything we needed. Their tips & recommendations definitely made our holidays more entertaining. The hotel staff were all TOP, from waiters to cleaning ladies, everyone is nice and does its best for their guests. Good location, near to the Chiaia beach. Poseidon Gardens (therme) are also at walking distance, a place we highly recommend. Do not miss the La Mortella botanical garden either, it is a wonderful place to visit in Ischia. The area of Sant'Angelo is also a great place to visit, with fine restaurants & clean sandy beaches with wonderful water, definitely proper to swim in even after mid of September. You may get there from Hotel Ideal by bus. Forio city centre is at a 20-30 min walk away from the hotel, offering a solid range of restaurants & several boutiques.

Hotel La Mela is located in Varcaturo, within 20 km of Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte and 21 km of Catacombs of Saint Gennaro. Great location, good breakfast, super nice and generous owner, great staff, clean.. We tried to come back later in our 14 day holiday, but it was fully booked. Hotel is simple with no luxuries, but excels in cleanliness and its staff. Definitely recommend it! And varcarturo has the best beaches

Baia Flegrea Meublè is located in Bacoli, within 700 metres of Spiaggia Libera Miseno and less than 1 km of Spiaggia del Poggio. The manager is fantastic nothing too much for him. He helped us book visits to historic sites and restaurants. The location is excellent. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommend it as a place for a weekend break or a longer stay.
