If you literally want to enjoy a Mediterranean holiday, it's got to be in the Mursia and Cossyra Hotel, overlooking the sea in the island of Pantelleria. The location is really strategical. Close to the main village of the island and facing the sunset. Quite old-style rooms but super clean (congrats to the cleaning staff). Breakfast is rich although quite standard. Nice fresh water swimming pool and excellent sea water swimming pools of the other hotel of the same owner (Mursia). The facilities of the other hotel are accessible also to Cossyra's clients. Surely recommended!
