Hotel Bellavista Meublè is located in Monte Isola island, in the Lake Iseo. The hotel has a barbecue and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Every room comes with a flat-screen TV. It was a family business, the owner’s uncle painted the majority of the artwork decorating the walls that could be in a museum! The owner picked us up from the boat giving us a tour of island while driving us back to the hotel. The hotel was spotless. We were given water bottles for our trek up to the cathedral. Breakfast (and espresso) was very good, if not the best we had in Italy. We ate in a glass covered atrium. There’s a rooftop with gorgeous island views. Easy to walk around the island, busses are frequent so it’s easy to go to Peschiera for dinner and back.

Traveling by car around the lakes of Italy (Garda, Como, etc) one evening I ended up on lake Iseo. Late in the evening I realized that I had forgotten to book a hotel. At the beginning I was quite calm, I hoped that as usual there wouldn’t be any problems with it but it turned out that all the hotels were busy. I even tried to go to the hotels to ask for available rooms but no. And at 21:30, being in a panic, I booked a hotel just choosing beautiful photos and excellent option available for check-in until 23:00. Realizing that it is a 40-minute drive along the shore to the opposite part of the lake, I decided to take a risk and go and if everything is as in the photos, it's worth it! And you know what? In the end, I changed all my plans and stayed at Vulkan Palace for 3 days!!! I stayed in rooms 72 and 71. I recommend it even to the most demanding guests. No breakfast for me it's a plus you can sleep as long as you want and don't have to wake up just for going for breakfast. I like to have breakfast after 11)
