It was a modest place but even so, had a very friendly and helpful staff, a beautiful family that were the proprietors, very good breakfast and a nice pool and pool deck area for hanging out. The beaches were close, a village beach and two more naturalistic beaches, all lovely. Easy to get to nice restaurants in the next town over, Sant'Antioco, but also perfectly great food in the village. We like a bit of luxury when we travel so this place, though not high on luxury, was actually very comfortable and enjoyable. We enjoyed it thoroughly.

Our suite on the top was just fantastic with the best views! Our room was top notch. We’d definitely stay here again.

Stella del Sud ligger utenfor Calasetta på øya Sant'Antioco, og tilbyr en privat park med en privat strand. Hotellet ligger ved stranden Spiaggia Grande, som vender ut mot øya Carloforte. The hotel is very well situated next to a public beach. The hotel staff was super nice, they were very helpful with any problem/request we had. There is option to have a lunch or dinner at the hotel which is very helpful as there are no other restaurants next to the hotel. The best option is to go for a lunch or dinner to nearby town Calasetta by your own car or by a shuttle bus. There are also two beach bars open throughout the day at the public beach.

Set in a romantic location on the island of Sant'Antioco, Hotel Luci Del Faro overlooks the lighthouse and is just 500 metres from the beach. Perfect, smaller hotel for us, a couple without children, extremely quiet location, all (!) staff smiling from morning to late night, high level, professional communication, breakfast, delicious dinners, cold packs for the beach, beach towels and umbrella for rent, morning swim to the lighthouse, atmosphere, cleanliness, view from the room to the lighthouse on a tiny island (we have got perhaps the most discreet room :), my fellow traveler, ...
