The breakfast and sleeping in - this hotel is absolutely made for a relaxing time in this beautiful valley. The breakfast is something I have not come across at any other hotel. It was incredible!

Grand Hotel Courmayeur Mont Blanc, by R Collection Hotels offers modern rooms with panoramic mountain views in Courmayeur. It features an indoor pool, a garden, and a wellness centre. The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The property itself is located just outside the historic centre which is great for access and it is perfectly silent. It is just a 8-10 minute walk to the very centre of town. The hotel is the most dog friendly place that we have ever stayed. There was a small fee for her stay, but they provided bowls, a mat, a bed and a huge bag of treats. My car was parked for me and returned charged for my onward journey. The breakfast had the most amazing view and was absolutely outstanding. The spa was lovely - my daughter and I really enjoyed the ‘Emotional Shower’ (we think it is mint then apple then eucalyptus). We have stayed in many of the hotels in and around Courmayeur and for me this is absolutely the best.

Located in the hamlet of Entreves, 2 km from Courmayeur, Hotel Aiguille Noire offers accommodation 600 metres from the Skyway Monte Bianco. My friend and I stayed at Hotel Aiguille Noire while doing the Tour de Mont Blanc (TMB). We could not have chosen a better place to stay. This hotel has been in the same family for four generations, which results in a great deal of care and effort. Our check in was easy, our room was spacious and comfortable (and even had a balcony), and the front lawn was perfect for an afternoon drink after hiking all day. Every person we encountered was kind and generous with their time. One of the owners even called a refuge for my friend and I to ensure we had a place to stay the next night on our trek. We feel so lucky that we were able to spend some time at this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful!

Set in the heart of Courmayeur, Hotel Crampon provides a free shuttle bus to the Mont Blanc ski area. It has a pretty garden and serves a breakfast of homemade jams and cakes each morning. Hotel is located in centre of Courmayeur, 2 minutes walk from all restaurants, shops etc but on quiet street. My room was just perfect: spacious with balcony and beautiful view. In hotel you will find also cozy and comfortable common areas: inside and outside and it’s just really nice to relax there. Breakfast was really good as well. On top of it I could leave my luggage when I have been racing all week around Aosta Valley. I couldn’t recommend this place more. For sure I’m coming back next year:)
