We stayed at the end of the summer season after 6 days of Trekking on the AV1. Pecol/Hotel Edelweiss is an great exit strategy from AV1. The entire town was quiet. Edelweiss welcomed us in. The family that runs the hotel is incredibly kind and accommodating. We left early due to bus schedule back toward Venice. They accommodated our early departure by moving up breakfast. Their croissants were the best we've ever had. Great coffee/espresso. Couldn't ask for more. Stay here!

Owners were very welcoming, great location, great apartment, great breakfast, great views from the balcony. Very calm atmosphere in the town. We had a pleasant stay.

Traditional and family-run Pineta Pastry Hotel offers mountain-view rooms and a restaurant serving Veneto specialities. Wellness facilities are available on site. Perfect location, approximately 8 minutes by car from the Malga Ciapela cable car to Marmolada (the slope from Marmolada is connected to the Arraba ski area, so you don't have to drive all the way to Arraba). Very tasty scrambled eggs and a selection of cheeses and hams, great croissants for breakfast. An even better dinner, a choice of 3 starters and 4 main courses, a dessert of your choice for free. All the dishes were absolutely delicious and big enough! :) Very nice and comfortable wellness with a hot tub and several saunas.

La Maison is 2 km from the shores of Lake Alleghe. It features a wellness centre with Finnish sauna and hot tub, and rooms with a balcony overlooking the Dolomites. Setting was magnificent. Amazing staff. Breakfasts were elegant, fresh, delicious, well presented. Attention to detail. The heated pool was awesome after a 15km hike as well as the world-class spa with jacuzzi and sauna. Real "splash out" holiday for us.

Helen, Mario, and Denise were incredible hosts. They were so kind, warm and welcoming. Their hotel was very clean and beautiful. Their breakfast was delicious! We plan to be back soon. They provided us the best possible experience. Our room was big and we had two very large decks. The parking was fantastic. They even surprised us with donuts when we checked out! Denise was very friendly and greeted us every morning at breakfast. She was able to give great recommendations for hikes and also directions! They also gave great recommendations for dinner :) everything was so perfect and the best place that we've stayed in Italy!!
