Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Hótel Djúpavík offers accommodation in Djupavik. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Krossneslaug Public Swimming Pool is 37 km away. Friendly staff, laid-back atmosphere, excellent food, wonderful historic building. And of course dramatic nature (the weather was a bit choppy when I was there so the water in the waterfalls blew upwards instead of falling down.) I had the best time lazing about, reading, doing the jigsaw puzzle and eating good food in the common room during a storm. I heartily recommend booking a tour in the old factory.
