The family-run Westenra Arms Hotel is located in the heart of Monaghan Town. It offers free Wi-Fi, luxurious rooms with garden views and 2 restaurants serving award-winning food. This was an amazing hotel! Perfect location for our needs, right in town and next door to a fantastic pub "The Squealing Pig" where our event was taking place and not far from our family gathering in Rockcorry. (BTW the Squealing Pig was very accomodating to our very Vegan daughter and her infant son); The staff at the hotel was pleasant and accomodating. The breakfast was fantastic with a full menu of options The town has a nice mall and shopping options; we had our laundry done down the street and back the same day if you get it there early. The Monaghan Museum was fantastic (they are moving to a new location down the street. The restaurants were great and we especially were impressed with 'Eastern Balti House' with the best service and great food!

Situated in Castleblayney, the recently renovated The Fairways, CastleBlayney provides accommodation 27 km from Proleek Dolmen and 27 km from Louth County Museum. An absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast. The bed was so big and comfortable. The room was spotless and the shower was great. Everything you need was there. Ashley did everything to make our stay Perfect. The breakfast was great. Fresh Fruit , different kinds of Bread and she even did sausages for me although she didnt have to. She was so kind. We had an amazing stay and we will definetely come back again.

This was perfect for our group of friends. Everything was clean and tidy and lots of space. Beds were extremely comfy. Will hopefully be back.

Greenfields Country House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Latton, 7.6 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre. Very nice place in the countryside, the room was nice, clean and comfy. Excellent Irish breakfast, the first we had on our roadtrip. We had the chance to chat with Madeleine which is a nice and charming person, you can tell she loves welcoming her guests.
