Whitford House Hotel is a family-run property located 3 miles from Wexford town and 17 minutes’ drive from Rosslare Europort. The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom roomy and spotless. the common spaces and restaurants were very elegant yet warm and welcoming. The landscaping and layout of the property were beautiful.

In 300 acres of gardens and woodland, Dunbrody Country House, situated in the village of Arthurstown, offers excellent cuisine, large rooms with original Georgian features, a and a cookery school. A stunning Country House Hotel. It was so good we extended our stay so we could enjoy it even more.

Overlooking Wexford Harbour, the Talbot Hotel features local art and an indoor swimming pool and spa bath. Free parking is available on site and Wexford Golf Club is just a 5-minute drive away. Our room was lovely, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our dinner at the hotel and our breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious. The hotel has a good lift, and it was well located to catch an Uber to our car rental place. It was a wonderful place to begin our tour of Ireland.
